2007 The year 2007 was the busiest year ever for Loipart turnkey catering area projects. The total turnkey area in new building vessels completed during this year, amounted to approx. 13000 m2. 2007 Loipart LLC moved into new, well located premises in Ft. Lauderdale. The new office was needed for the extension of the spare parts stock for local market. 2006 A new production plant of 1700 m2 in Kiukainen was opened. The unit specialises in thick sheet production including air conditioning channels and pipes (s/s, Fe, Cu). 2006 A brand new factory in Eura was opened. The construction of the new plant started in autumn 2005 and the plant was taken into use in January 2006. The total area amounts to 2200 sq.m. The stainless steel furniture production was moved to Eura from Järvenpää production unit which was closed. 2005 In December a brand new spare parts warehouse was opened in Alingsås, Sweden. Loipart Spare Parts Center offers worldwide deliveries of original spare parts of our products, all ready for immediate dispatch. 2004 Loipart LLC was established in Florida, Ft. Lauderdale, to serve US customers with spare parts of Electrolux marine appliances and Loipart stainless steel food service equipment. 2004 Loipart Caribbean Customer Services was set up in Freeport, Grand Bahama. 2003 Loipart acquires Electrolux Professional Marine Division and creates Loipart AB of Sweden. Loipart has world exclusivity of Electrolux food service marine appliances and spare parts. 2003 Loipart was named the Supplier of the Year 2002 by Kvaerner Masa Yards Shipyard. 2003 The production of A-60 fire class modular pantries starts. 2001 The production of customized modular pantries starts. Loipart owns production premises totalling approx. 15000 m2. 2000 Loipart starts the production of A-60 class cold room fire doors. 2000 Loipart buys the marine production of Point Cool Oy in Tuusula. A new production unit manufactures stainless steel, hot and cold furniture for galleys and pantries. 2000 The company name changes back to Loipart Oy. The co-operational agreement with Electrolux is decided to be terminated. 1999 Electrolux Professional Oy Loipart acquires AP-Putki-Rohrbau Oy. 1997 Company name was changed to Electrolux Professional Oy Loipart 1996 Loipart buys a factory of provision store and cold room elements in Imatra. 1995 In order to complement the range of galley products, Loipart signs a co-operation agreement with Oy Electrolux Ab. 1993 The first large-scale turnkey, module-based ship galley area was completed in a conversion project of ms King of Scandinavian. 1992 By developing modular technology of catering areas, Loipart becomes one of the leading turnkey suppliers of ship catering areas. 1991 Loipart specialises in repair and conversion projects of cruise ships. 1991 Exports to Germany and other European shipyards starts. 1988 The first major turnkey delivery of ship galleys from Loipart is carried out in M/S Royal Viking Sun. Production range expands in provision stores and cold rooms. 1985 Loipart strengthened its operations of ship galley installation services and starts a ship galley production of its own. 1980 Loipart specialises in installation services for ship building. The industrial service and maintenance business line are separated from the main business branch. 1977 Loipart Oy was founded its main business being industrial service and maintenance, and the import of spare parts for cars. |
