Founded in 1977, the factory is strategically located in Eura, a municipality of 14,000 people in southwestern Finland, close to the shipyards in Rauma and Turku.
At our Eura facilities, we also design and build cold storage and freezer rooms, often for large cruise liners with up to 3,000 square meters of storage space. All panels are produced in-house: polyurethane is sprayed onto one side and then bonded to the other. We also use Rockwool insulation in A60 fire zones and manufacture A60-classified fire doors with MED certification.
The Eura factory uses 3D design programs for production to ensure exact matching to the prescribed design. We check that the design can be produced and delivered all the way to the designated location on the ship. All customers have access to Loipart’s layout designers.

Every galley is customized. We use stainless steel both for the framework and for the sheets covering the framework. We do all the welding and use fibre laser to cut the sheets into the correct dimensions. The galley is divided into modules where each piece is 6-8 m long.
)
With all the galley modules ready in our module hall, we mount all the equipment such as freezers, fryers, grills, ice cream machines, refrigerators, toasters and ovens. Our production staff makes sure everything is correctly installed.
)
Time to put the galley modules where they belong in the ship. We lift the galley 4 cm off the ground with a crane and place it onto a movable platform. Then we push the platform onto a truck and then transfer from the truck to the ship.
)
The galley is equipped with all the necessary pipe connections for electricity and water in the factory. We take care of the installation at shipyards (newbuild) or ship docks around the world (conversion projects). Our people do all the installation work.

Our Chute Systems
We also produce chute systems for waste and laundry. Users only have to open a door and place waste or laundry for transport to a waste-handling system or laundry room. The chute design prevents the spread of odors and provides a shutdown in the event of a fire.
LMG solar power plant
One of our goals is to reduce our carbon emissions, but a lot of energy is required to produce galleys and waste systems in our factories. So we installed 352 pcs of 450W solar panels on our factory roofs.
The panels have a peak power of 158 kWp*. When the weather is right, the panels can produce 158kW per hour.
*The peak power is a measurement of maximum performance obtainable from the panels under perfect conditions.
You can follow the real-time production and see how much we have produced.
