Loipart is proud to have contributed to Hinnøy, Norway’s largest fully electric ferry, recently delivered to Torghatten Nord. Built by Cemre Shipyard in Turkey, this cutting-edge vessel represents a major leap forward in the development of zero-emission maritime transport.

Complete catering solutions

Working in close partnership with our esteemed collaborator UNOKS, Loipart supplied the complete catering solutions onboard Hinnøy, which includes energy-efficient, space-saving galley systems and sustainable waste management solutions, all designed to meet the high standards required for fully electric vessels.

Hinnøy will operate on the Bognes–Lødingen route in northern Norway, offering service to up to 399 passengers and 120 vehicles, while relying entirely on battery-electric propulsion. The vessel is equipped with a high-capacity automatic charging system at both terminals to ensure seamless operation.

This milestone project is a testament to Loipart’s ability to deliver customized, sustainable catering solutions that help meet the evolving needs of modern, environmentally-friendly vessels. Through our collaboration with UNOKS, we continue to support the maritime industry in its transition to greener, more efficient technologies.
