Through an automated cycle, the Dehydrator extracts and discharges the liquid part of the material processed in the sealed chamber in just a few hours. At the end of each cycle, it delivers a solid and dry residue equal to 10-30% of the original materials. The residues are controlled and tested by internationally accredited laboratories and have been verified as resources for their properties; they are free of pathogens, bacterial loads, and unpleasant odors. When allowed, the liquid residue can be discharged into the sea.

The solid residue is chemically stable and easily stored without needing large spaces or special equipment (e.g., refrigerated/conditioned cells). The solid residue is a high-quality organic matrix that maintains the nutritional properties of the processed raw material and is a natural resource preparatory to the uses permitted by law. If the solid residue is not used as a resource, it can be disposed of as organic wet waste with regular separate waste collection.
