Sustainable RoPax Ferry Built for Destination Gotland
M/S Visby (formerly M/S Thjelvar) is a Swedish vehicle and passenger ferry, ordered by Rederi AB Gotland for Destination Gotland's lines between Visby and Nynäshamn and between Visby and Oskarshamn. With her new name M / S Visby, she was put into service on 30 May 2020 between Visby and Nynäshamn.
M/S Visby, which is a sister ship to M / S Visborg, was built by Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited in Guangzhou, China. She was delivered in 2019 and is powered by Liquified Natural Gas
